Wood Point Academy is not at all what I expected. For one thing, it looks like a
cross between military school and Buckingham Palace. Everyone stares, the floors
shine so bright you can see your reflection in them from a mile away, and no one
smiles. Unless they're kicking your butt in the process.
At least I've got plenty to take my mind off the fact that my psycho cousin, Miles De'Luca, keeps calling and declaring his love and promising to come for me just as soon as he's destroyed anyone standing in our way. Wes isn't going to like that idea. So between Miles, Wood Point's evil welcoming committee, and the drill sergeant hottie trainer from hell, I just keep asking myself, how did I end up here?

Oooooooh dear Lordy, we're in for it now!
Talk about one whopper of a WTF moment! Seriously, I'm in a love/hate mood right now because it was flipping awesome, yet the cliff hanger was definitely one of those jaw dropping, eyes bulging, cue climatic music types of cliff hangers.
I love them, yet AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
Okay, so in the second installment, we get to have some major fun with new, spunky characters. They pack a whole lot of attitude into every scene and scenario. You know I love the misfits ;)
And lets talk about a new love interest *wiggles eyebrows*. Duhn duhn Duuuuhn! LOVE TRIANGLE! But a fun one, so don't throw your eReader just yet, okay?
We're talking some confusing, yet truthful, passionately chaotic emotional meltdowns. Its to the point where I don't know which team I'm on and am just yelling at Tara to hurry up and pick one just so I can have the one left out (hey now, my imaginative world is fabulous and I can have as many fictional love interests that I want in my mind, thank you very much).
George, I'm still iffy about him. He's still clinging onto Tara's skirts, trying to stay in her life. He's turning sweet and less needy, which is making me become slightly won over, yet he just has to be soooo stubborn that he ends up getting in a really bad situation. Yeah, just couldn't let her go, could you dumbass? Now look where it got you! Freaking hormonal men! Ugh!
Now, while the creepy psycho vibe is still intense when it comes to Miles, aka villain junior, the creepy vibe takes on a whole new level of what-the-ef-ery when they start talking about science experiments with the different breeds, and some of the 'oopsie' moments while tyring to make his little 'pets'. Now, it's utterlry fascinating from a complete nerdy aspect *pushes up glasses*, but its also fascinating in the 'ohhhh sh*t thats gonna cause some MAJOR f*ed up situations' aspect also. Yay! The masses are pleased!
Now, while I'd normally blab on and on and put most of you guys to sleep or just have you roll your eyes and skip to the giveaway (you lazy cheaters you :P ), I shall make this review short and sweet because I'm dying to read the next book! eep!
So read the Dirty Blood series or be as much of a dumbass as George! *evil laugh*
